Terms and Conditions for Online Hypnotherapy Sessions

Scope of Practice Hypnotherapy is a complementary wellness practice and is not a replacement for medical or psychological treatment. Ascendant Hypnotherapy does not diagnose, prescribe medication, or offer medical or psychological advice. Clients are encouraged, and in some cases required, to consult with a licensed healthcare provider for medical or psychological concerns prior to hypnotherapy sessions.

Client Participation and Responsibility
Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, and client participation is essential. As all hypnosis is self-hypnosis, the effectiveness of your session relies on your willingness to engage in the process, follow instructions, and maintain an open mind.

Online Hypnotherapy Session Environment
For your session to be effective, it is important that you set yourself up in a private, quiet, and distraction-free space. Ensure that you have a reliable internet connection and a comfortable place where you can safely relax and participate fully in the session.

Alcohol and Substance Use
To ensure the integrity and effectiveness of your hypnotherapy session, it is important that you attend sober and in a clear state of mind. If you arrive inebriated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the session will be immediately cancelled, and no refund will be provided.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. Refunds are not provided for completed sessions.

Audio Recording Policy
As part of the therapeutic process, Ascendant Hypnotherapy may provide clients with custom-created audio recordings for their personal use. These recordings are considered intellectual property and remain the sole property of Ascendant Hypnotherapy. They are intended exclusively for the individual client’s use and may not be shared, distributed, copied, or otherwise disseminated in any form without explicit written permission from Ascendant Hypnotherapy.
